[Settling into Serithica has been an adventure to say the least, but Allison is starting to get the hang of it. She's always been a bit of a chameleon, but she wants to make sure everyone else is adjusting the same. So she swings over to Kamala's door and knocks lightly.]

[It's not easy for Kamala to adjust to this kind of life. Some people got weird during the Blip time. Kamala doesn't think it ever got this weird. She's trying to put on a brave face all the same. It's definitely easier with the offer of food as always. :)]

I don't think there are that many options, but I did find a pub that I've been enjoying.

[It's very general food, sandwiches and soups and roasted meats. Possibly not halal, but hopefully they'll find something on the menu that works.]

Or we could pick somewhere new and see how it is?

A pub... [Kamala runs it over in her brain. It's not like the Khans go to those. She can probably go the vegan route to be safe.]

As long as we can find somewhere with veggies and carbs I should be good.

Veggies and carbs. I think I can work with that. And if nothing else, we can find some kind of grocery store and we can try and make something ourselves.

Yeah, I do. You had a brother. I don't remember how to spell his name, I'm sorry, but I know what he did. He died saving civilian lives during the Battle of Sokovia. He was a hero.

Why? Is this the anniversary of his death? I'm kind of confused about how time works here, but if you need to vent or something I'm around.

No seriously, I'm okay. It was really scary, but it's kind of hard to injure me with my powers unless you take me totally by surprise. Those guys were not subtle. Just terrifying. Really cannot stress the scary part enough.

They weren't the pleasant sort at all, you're right about that. I'd hoped your powers would keep you safe but I do worry regardless. I'll always worry about you.

That's actually really sweet and means a lot to me. It's kind of weird not to have people worry about me constantly. My parents are all about that overprotective life.

[Kamala feels like someone's struck her. She loves the Doctor. He gives warm hugs and offers sweets that are too sweet. He means well. She likes the way he talks to her.

Kamala knows these friendships are doomed to end. They all want to go home. She doesn't expect anyone to die though. Her voice is shaky when she responds. Kamala is clearly upset.] I don't understand. How did his face change? Why does that mean he died? Or kind of died?
